Brides trust us.

The story

Hi, I’m Courtney, and caring for wedding dresses has been at the heart of my work for more than two decades.

I’ve been a serial entrepreneur since 2009, with a long-standing focus on wedding attire and women’s fashion, but my experience in the bridal industry goes back over 25 years. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with brides and couples, helping care for some of the most meaningful garments they will ever own.

A Career Built on Bridal Expertise

In 2009, I opened my first bridal business, The White Flower Bridal Boutique in California. Within three years, the boutique doubled in size and went on to be recognized multiple times as The Knot’s Best of Bridal Salon and named one of Brides Magazine’s Top 50 Bridal Salons in the Country during my ownership.

The White Flower carried exclusive international designer labels priced up to $15,000 and served the entire San Diego metropolitan area for wedding gown sales, alterations, steaming, and pressing. During this time, I worked hands-on with more than 5,000 brides and their wedding dresses, gaining deep knowledge of fit, fabric, construction, and proper care.

In 2017, our family made the decision to return home to Maui. We immediately launched Maui Wedding Dress Pressing, and due to the overwhelming demand on the island, expanded to include Bridal Concierge Hawaii, a service designed to support wedding coordinators and couples with day-of attire care and logistics. Then Never Just A Dress, which is our wedding dress cleaning and preservation division that focuses on only on our destination brides, but all brides around the United States.

In the fall of 2019, I successfully sold The White Flower Bridal Boutique to focus fully on our growing Hawaii-based businesses and our family.

In 2020, I launched Hawaii Flying Dress, sending dramatic, multi-wrap dresses around the world for women to experience empowerment, adventure, and celebration through photography. This chapter has been an incredible gift, allowing me to work not only with brides, but with women of all ages and stages, celebrating themselves.

Why I Do What I Do

At the heart of everything I do is a simple truth: I love dresses, and I love making women feel beautiful, confident, and cared for.

Whether you’re a bride, a partner, or a couple navigating what to do with a cherished wedding dress after the big day, please know that I am always happy to connect, answer questions, and guide you through the process. Your dress matters to me and I will always treat it that way.

XOXO,
Courtney
